This original oil painting named "Glacier Gorge" is the first one I ever created. It is reminiscent of Bob Ross - yes I claim him as one of my teachers! It reminds me of a place called Glacier Gorge in the Rocky Mountain National Park where I backpacked and spent a night camping beside this gorgeous, clear turquoise glacier pond with stunning snow covered peaks just behind it. It was August and still quite chilly camping up there - but gorgeous almost beyond belief!
To anyone interested in learning how to paint with oils I highly recommend watching and following some of the Bob Ross tutorial videos: The Joy of Painting.
